Earlier this week, the Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and the Committee on Financial Services sent a letter to SEC Chairman Walter (you may access the letter here: http://www.mofo.com/files/Uploads/Images/130305-DEI-Hensarling-Jordan-McHenry-to-Walter-SEC.pdf) inquiring about the progress of the Commission’s required rulemaking under the JOBS Act, and requesting that the Commission provide information regarding the resources devoted to discretionary rulemaking related to a petition to require that public companies disclose the use of corporate resources for political activity.
